Kind Regards

Hello to Everyone!

It is wonderful to be here. I have done quite a bit of surfing through your profiles and hubs before joining, so I am thrilled to be part of this. I think I was this excited when I first discovered StumbleUpon, and that is precisely how I found HubPages.

If you're anything like me, it's fun to see what someone looks like, so you can find me on Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpon.

I have traveled all throughout the lower 48 states and Canada, and I've lived in about a dozen different states. I've slowed down quite a bit and tend to stay in one place nowadays. I recently saved for a car and bought a black VW New Beetle Sport with red rims. I love it! Now I'm saving to build a small log cabin.

Traveling, let's see. I spent quite a few years on the west coast right out of college, as well as New York City and Boston. I lived in the South in New Orleans, which feels so different from the rest of the U.S. I've also lived in small towns and completely off the grid in the wilderness.

I grew up in both the Rocky Mountains and the Midwest.  Kansas is home and always will be.  I feel fulfilled and complete with the West.  That journey is done and was a great one.  Now I am lucky to have found other regions that hold my passion and fascination.

One of my first loves is New England. I am completely captivated by Boston. I have enjoyed such a perfect life there. For three years, I lived on Beacon Hill and walked across the hill to work through Boston Common and Downtown Crossing, and then to Fort Point Channel. Ideal.

I never would've guessed that one of the most beautiful and incredible places for me would turn out to be the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. I've lived off the grid, meaning no electric, water or nearby towns. A totally amazing way of life. There's nothing like it.  Now I live in a beautiful home above one of the most gorgeous lakes in the world.

It's obvious I am interested in places and travel. I also enjoy reading blogs and keeping one of my own. I love looking at images, interior design and architecture, reading about real estate, land, people, art and whatever else, you never know.

I am a self-employed independent contractor and my work page can be found at Studio East in the Ozark Mountains on Tumblr.  Feel free to drop on by.

I prefer to live in a positive, friendly, welcoming and warm environment, so thank you for reading. Relax and enjoy yourself here.

Kind Regards
